The publication of the CCO-94 is organised into four parts. The first part includes the presentation, the introduction and the decree approving the 1994 Catalan Classification of Occupations (CCO-94). The second part both summarises the historical and conceptual framework in which labour classifications are developed for statistical purposes, and then explains the harmonisation process and the characteristics of the CCO-94. The third part contains the 1994 Catalan Classification of Occupations (CCO-94), explanatory notes for the content of the most disaggregated categories, a brief version of the classification up to two digits, an index of occupations aimed at making inquiries easier, and a table of correspondences between the CNO-79 the CCO-94. The fourth part includes the annexes where the terminological criteria and bibliographic materials used are set out.
