The Survey consists of various questionnaires aimed at households and the people who reside in them.

The questions in each questionnaire follow a sequence and flows established based on the answers. Some of the questions are not asked because the information is obtained from administrative files (FA). There are also some sections at the end of the questionnaires called additional modules (M-) where the question topics change every year.

These questionnaires are described briefly below.

The Household record gathers basic information about the people who live in the dwellings.

The Household questionnaire gathers information on aspects relating to the surveyed household. Specifically, it asks for the following information:

  1. A. General characteristics of the main dwelling
  2. B. Main dwelling owned
  3. C. Main dwelling rented
  4. D. Main dwelling in free assignment
  5. E. Expenses of main dwelling owned or in free assignment
  6. F. Household equipment
  7. G. Household financial situation
  8. H. Income from capital income (FA)
  9. I. Income from property rental
  10. J. Transfers between households
  11. K. Regular wealth taxes
  12. L. Income of children under 16 years of age in 2023
  13. N. Self-consumption
  14. O. Income developments
  15. MI. Childhood
  16. MA. Access to services (M-)

The Individual questionnaire gathers information on each member of the household aged 16 years and over. Specifically, it asks for the following information:

  1. A. Current main activity
  2. B. Characteristics of last main job
  3. C. Characteristics of current main job
  4. D. Other jobs
  5. E. Situation in the Activity in 2023 and prior years
  6. F. General income
  7. G. Monetary income from paid employment (FA)
  8. H. Use of company cars in the year 2023
  9. I. Other non-cash income from paid employment
  10. J. Income from self-employment
  11. K. Income from social benefits (FA)
  12. L. Private non-occupational pension schemes
  13. N. Income tax in 2023 (FA)
  14. O. Health
  15. P. Access to health care
  16. Q. Biographical data
  17. R. Education
  18. S. Professional experience
  19. T. Basic needs, social and leisure activities and durable goods
  20. U. Welfare
