Exports rose by 6.0% in Catalonia in 2015 with respect to the previous year, according to definitive data from the Customs and Special Taxes Department of the State Tax Administration Agency. By economic destination, increased all types of goods, and highlighted consumer goods with an increase of 10.6%, followed by intermediate goods (3.4%) and capital goods (1.5%). On the other hand, imports increased by 5.6% compared to the previous year, with increases for consumer and capital goods (17.7% and 15.5%, respectively); while intermediate goods decreased by 0.9%.
The main goal of these statistics is to present the trade flows of exports and imports of goods between Catalonia and abroad a monthly basis.
