The primary objective of the Survey on Consumption and Childhood Cultural Practices is to obtain statistical information on the consumption and practice of cultural activities among the population between 6 and 14 years of age. It also provides information on the venue, characteristics and context of the cultural activities, the dependence of the children on a given cultural activity, their lifestyle and their intergenerational reproduction.
Idescat carries out this survey, which provides results on Catalonia as a whole, together with the Ministry of Culture and the Media and the Ministry of Education.
