In accordance with Eurostat's recommendations, statistics offices must periodically update (at least once every five years) the sources and methods of estimation used to draw up the economic accounts. In this regard, all of the results of the statistics that make up Catalonia's economic accounting will progressively incorporate this review, from 20 March 2020, to coincide with the dissemination of the 2019 Catalonia Economic Accounts. This 2019 benchmark revision will be applied to the entire 2000-2019 accounting record.

The dissemination of the advance of the GDP for the fourth quarter of 2019, which is published today, is the last estimate conducted with the 2010 accounting baseline.
