Large Store Sales Index. 08/2022

The Large Store Sales Index (IVGS) of Catalonia at current prices increased by 15.3% in August 2022 compared to the same month of 2021. By product group, food sales have increased by 13.5% and the rest of the products by 17.1%.

At constant prices (i.e. eliminating the effect of prices) the index showed a year-over-year rise of 0.8%. By product group, sales of food products increased by 2.1%, while those of non-food products decreased by 0.5%.
