Large Store Sales Index. 05/2024

The Large Store Sales Index (IVGS) of Catalonia at current prices increased by 1.1% in May 2024 compared to the same month of 2023. By product group, food sales increased by 2.1% and sales of rest of products by 0.1%.

At constant prices (i.e., eliminating the effect of prices) the index showed a year-over-year decrease of 2.3%. Food sales decreased by 1.6% and those of other products by 2.9%.
