Large Store Sales Index. 08/2024

The Large Store Sales Index (IVGS) of Catalonia at current prices increased by 2.2% in August 2024 compared to the same month of 2023. By product group, the increase was recorded in food sales (2.3%) as well as in sales of other products (2.0%).

At constant prices (i.e., eliminating the effect of prices) the index showed a year-over-year decrease of 0.4%. Sales of food products dropped by 0.5% and those of other products by 0.2%.
