Foreign Trade according to Technological Content. Q3/2024

Catalonia exported industrial products worth 22,343.0 million euros in the third quarter of 2024, a figure that represents an increase of 1.7% in relation to the same quarter of the previous year. Foreign sales increased at all technological levels, except for those with medium-high content. Exports of products with high technological content increased by 1.6% year-over-year, those with a medium-low technological level by 6.7%, and those with a low level by 4.8%. On the other hand, those with a medium-high level decreased by 1.2%.

Catalonia imported industrial productsworth 24,121.9 million euros in the third quarter of 2024, a figure that represents a year-over-year increase of 5.0%. By technological level, foreign purchases with a high technological content increased by 4.1%, those of medium-high level by 4.6%, and those of low level by 10.7%. On the other hand, those with a medium-low level decreased by 1.6%.
