The number of trips to Catalonia by residents of the rest of Spain decreased 20.4% year-over-year in the third quarter of 2024, which meant a total of 1.7 million trips, 10.0 million overnight stays, an average stay of 5.9 nights, and an expenditure of 845 million euros.

The expenditure on trips to Catalonia of residents in the rest of Spain in the third quarter of 2024 was 499 euros per person, a figure that represents an increase of 2.2% above the third quarter of 2023, the equivalent to a daily expenditure of 85 euros, which increased 5.2%.
