COVID Covid-19 Statistics

The Covid-19 statistics provide information on the situation, evolution and demographic characteristics of the pandemic.

Weekly information on the incidence of Covid-19 since March 2020 and on vaccination since December 2020 is presented. The information on Covid-19 incidence includes PCRs and antigen tests performed, confirmed cases, reproduction numbers and deaths. Regarding vaccination, information is provided on doses administered and people vaccinated. Results are presented for Catalonia. In the section on short-term economic indicators, a comparison with Spain is also published. From July 2022, only the "Weekly incidence of Covid-19" table will be updated, as the monitoring of Covid-19 will be integrated into the epidemiological surveillance of acute respiratory infections (ARI) through the monitoring of key indicators in SIVIC (the Information System for the Surveillance of Infections in Catalonia).

Monthly, quarterly and annual data classified by sex and age up to the second quarter of 2022 are also provided. For Catalonia, the counties and Aran, data are provided on confirmed cases, hospital admissions, deaths, the population living in residences and the vaccinated population. Data on confirmed cases are provided for municipalities with 200 inhabitants or more.
