RFDBC Territorial Gross Disposable Household Income

The statistical operation Gross Disposable Household Income is the main aggregate that measures the disposable income of the residents of a territory for use in consumption or savings. This income depends on the income of families directly associated with the retribution for their contribution to productive activity (compensation of employees and gross operating surplus), but it is also influenced by the Public Administration activity through taxes and social benefits.

The geographical scope of the series under the 2024 Benchmark Revision and the 2019 Benchmark Revisions encompasses the counties and municipalities in Catalonia with more than 1,000 inhabitants. As for the time series of previous accounting bases (bases 1986, 1995, 2000, 2008 and 2010), the geographical scope encompasses the counties and municipalities in Catalonia with more than 5,000 inhabitants and the county capitals.

Idescat elaborates this series, which is consistent with the data of the household income accounts collected in the INE's Spanish Regional Accounts.
