Methodological note

The Industry Turnover Index (IVNI) is a short-term indicator used to measure the Turnover Index on Industry by economic destination of the goods, so as to reflect the short-term evolution of the turnover of industrial companies in Catalonia. It is a value index, that is, it measures the joint evolution of quantities, quality and prices.

The IVNI includes all the large industrial sectors defined according to Regulation CE num. 656/2007 of the European Commission.

Turnover Index of the industrial products does not include the energy (divisions 05, 06, 19, 35 and 36 of the CCAE-09)

You can get more information about these statistics in the methodology .
