Methodological note

The indicator is defined as the share of people aged 0 to 64 living in households with very low work intensity in which the adults have worked 20% or less of their total work potential during the past year.

People of working age are individuals aged 18 to 64 (except for students aged 18 to 24, pensioners or retired people, as well as inactive people aged between 60 and 64 where the main source of household income is pensions). This variable does not apply in the case of persons aged 65 and over.
