Statistics on Campsite Activity. Q1/2023

The number of overnight stays spent at campsites in Catalonia increased by 13.9% in the first quarter of 2023 on the year-over-year data, according to the provisional data from the Campsite Occupancy Survey.

As to the origins of such tourism, domestic campers increased by 7.7%: tourism from Catalonia increased by 6.4% and tourism from the rest of Spain by 42.3%; with regards to the foreign tourism, it also increased, by 28.8%. Furthermore, the year-over-year figures for the number of travellers registered at campsites grew by 7.8%.
