Indicators of Hotel Sector Profitability. 05/2023

The average daily Rate (ADR) at hotel establishments increased by a year-over-year 9.4% in Catalonia in May 2023 and stood at 120.86 euros. As far as tourism brands are concerned, Barcelona, Costa Brava and Costa Barcelona showed the highest values (180.50, 81.74 and 80.24 euros, respectively). Barcelona and Costa Brava showed positive variation rates of 18.6% and 7.2%, respectively, while Costa Barcelona showed a negative variation rate of 2.6%.

On the other hand, the revenue per available room (RevPar) increased by 14.7% compared to the same month of the previous year and stood at 82.97 euros, according to the Hotel Occupancy Survey.
