Indicators of Hotel Sector Profitability. 08/2023

The average daily Rate (ADR) at hotel establishments increased by a year-over-year 3.8% in Catalonia in August 2023 and stood at 136.46 euros. As far as tourism brands are concerned, Barcelona, Costa Brava and Costa Daurada showed the highest values (162.22, 138.03 and 136.94 euros, respectively). Costa Brava and Costa Daurada showed positive variation rates of 8.0% and 4.9%, while Barcelona showed a negative variation rate of 0.6%.

On the other hand, the revenue per available room (RevPar) increased by 4.1% compared to the same month of the previous year and stood at 115.88 euros, according to the Hotel Occupancy Survey.
