Statistics on Campsite Activity. Q3/2023

The number of overnight stays spent at campsites in Catalonia increased by 2.3% year-over-year in the third quarter of 2023, according to the provisional data from the Campsite Occupancy Survey.

As to the origins of such tourism, domestic campers decreased by 0.9%: tourism from Catalonia decreased by 2.5% and tourism from the rest of Spain increased by 5.8%. Regarding foreign tourism, it increased by 5.0%. Furthermore, the year-over-year figures for the number of travellers registered at campsites grew by 5.5%.
