Large Store Sales Index. 09/2023

The Large Store Sales Index (IVGS) of Catalonia at current prices increased by 3.6% in September 2023 compared to the same month of 2022. By product group, food sales increased by 7.4%, while sales of other products decreased by 0.5%.

At constant prices (i.e., eliminating the effect of prices) the index registered a year-over-year variation of 1.7%. By product group, in this case sales of food products dropped by 1.9%, while sales of other products rose by 5.9%.
