Large Store Sales Index. 10/2023

The Large Store Sales Index (IVGS) of Catalonia at current prices decreased by 1.0% in October 2023 compared to the same month of 2022. By product group, sales of other products decreased by 3.6%, while food sales increased by 0.9%.

At constant prices (i.e., eliminating the effect of prices) the index registered a year-over-year negative variation of 3.6%. Food sales decreased by 6.7%, while sales of other products increased by 0.1%.
