Retail Trade Index. 11/2023

The General Retail Trade Index (ICD) without service stations, at current prices, increased by 10.1% year-over-year in Catalonia in November 2023. By product type, food increased by 10.2% and the rest of products by 9.9%. Within the latter type, personal equipment increased by 17.2% compared with the same month in the previous year, household equipment decreased by 2.2% and the other goods increased y 13.1%. During the same period, the General Retail Trade Index with service stations, at current prices, increased by 8.6% compared to one year ago.

At constant prices (i.e. eliminating the effect of prices) the retail trade index without service stations increased by 7.0% year-over-year.
