Indicators of Hotel Sector Profitability. 12/2023 and year 2023. Provisional data

The average daily rate (ADR) in hotel establishments increased by a year-over-year 10.0% in Catalonia in December 2023 and stood at 110.62 euros. As far as tourism brands are concerned, Val d’Aran, Barcelona and Costa Daurada showed the highest values (170.57, 124.47 and 111.75 euros, respectively). On the other hand, the revenue per available room (RevPar) increased by 13.0% compared to the same month of the previous year and stood at 58.86 euros, according to the Hotel Occupancy Survey.

In 2023, the Average Daily Rate (ADR) increased by 8.9% in comparison with 2022 and stood at 122.87 euros. Moreover, Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR) increased by 15.8% and stood at 86.77 euros, according to provisional data.
