Indicators of Hotel Sector Profitability. 01/2024

The average daily rate (ADR) in hotel establishments increased by a year-over-year 11.6% in Catalonia in January 2024 and stood at 107.12 euros. As far as tourism brands are concerned, Val d'Aran, Barcelona and Costa Daurada showed the highest values (148.21, 118.07 and 82.28 euros, respectively), with positive variation rates of 12.7%, 9.5% and 7.2%, respectively.

On the other hand, the revenue per available room (RevPar) increased by 16.2% compared to the same month of the previous year and stood at 59.24 euros, according to the Hotel Occupancy Survey.
