CMORT Statistics on Cause of Death

Identification and codification of the basic cause of death and other variables collected in the statistical bulletin of death. Subsequently, this information is recorded, debugged and exploited. Annually the analysis of mortality indicators and the dissemination of results, as well as studies of unfixed periodicity, are performed. The basic data of death are sent to the Statistical Institute of Catalonia to do the statistics of the natural movement of the population, and to the National Statistics Institute to do the Spanish statistics of mortality.
