Consumer Price Index. 06/2023

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 1.9% on a year-over-year basis in Catalonia in June 2023. The groups with the highest inflation were Food and non-alcoholic beverages (10.0%), Alcoholic beverages and tobacco (8.0%), Hotels, cafés and restaurants (6.3%) and Household goods (5.8%) . The only groups with a negative variation rate were Housing (−10.8%) and Transport (−7.5%).

In this period, the core inflation (general index without unprocessed food and energy products) is 5.9% in Catalonia.
