Indicators of Service Sector Activity. Turnover Index. 05/2023

The Turnover Index in Service Sector (IASSVN) increased by 0.3% on a year-over-year basis in Catalonia in May 2023. By activity sectors, trade decreased by 1.7%, while other services, this is to say, non-commercial sectors, increased by 3.9%. Within these other services, professional, scientific and technical activities and information and communications stood out, with increases of 12.0% and 4.8%, respectively. On the other hand, transport and storage decreased by 1.6%.
