Indicators of Service Sector Activity. Turnover Index. 08/2023

The Turnover Index in Service Sector (IASSVN) decreased by 0.6% on a year-over-year basis in Catalonia in August 2023. By activity sectors, there was a decrease both in trade (−0.6%) and other services, that is, non-commercial sectors (−0.6%). Within the latter, accommodation and food service activities decreased by 15.1%, along with transport and storage, by 5.6%. On the other hand, there was an increase in administrative and support service activities (9.8%), and professional, scientific and technical activities (9.7%).
