Consumer Price Index. 02/2024

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 2.7% on a year-over-year basis in Catalonia in February 2024. All groups presented positive rates of change, except housing (−3.1%). The groups with the highest inflation have been food and alcoholic beverages and tobacco (5.4%) and hotels, cafés and restaurants (5.1%).

In this period, the core inflation (general index without unprocessed food and energy products) is 3.4% in Catalonia.
