Consumer Price Index. 03/2024

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 3.1% on a year-over-year basis in Catalonia in April 2024. All groups presented positive rates of change.The groups with the highest inflation have been otels, cafés and restaurants (4.8%), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (4.1%) and food and non-alcoholic beverages (3.9%).

In this period, the core inflation (general index without unprocessed food and energy products) is 3.4% in Catalonia.
