Indicators of Service Sector Activity. Indexes of Production and Turnover. Q3/2024

The Production Index in the Service Sector (IPROSS) (base 2021=100) increased by 4.3% on year-over-year basis in Catalonia in the third quarter of 2024. Furthermore, the Turnover Index (IASSVN) also showed an increase of 4.9% compared to a year ago, since the other services (this is to say, non-commercial ones) increased by 10.2% and trade by 1.7%. Within the other services, the most significant increases were in accommodation and food service activities (22.5%) and in professional, scientific and technical activities (12.5%).
