Consumer Price Index. 11/2024

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 2.6% on a year-over-year basis in Catalonia in November 2024. All groups showed positive rates of change, except transport (−0,5%) and communications that remains stable (0,0%).The groups with the highest inflation were housing (7,0%), hotels, cafés and restaurants (4.4%) and alcoholic beverages and tobacco (3.4%).

In this period, the core inflation (general index without unprocessed food and energy products) was 2.7% in Catalonia.
