The number of Social Security contributors in Catalonia registered a year-over-year increase of 2.1% in March 2026. Reus, Tarragona and Vilanova i la Geltrú led the highest growth in contributors among municipalities with more than 50,000 inhabitants.
The calendar and seasonally adjusted Industrial Production Index decreased by 0.3% year over year in Catalonia in February 2026.
