The number of Social Security contributors in Catalonia rose by 1.9% year over year in December 2025 and increased in all counties and Aran. Manresa and Sabadell, both with a rise of 2.8%, led the largest growth in contributors among municipalities with more than 50,000 inhabitants.
The Industrial Production Index adjusted by working days increased by 0.9% in Catalonia in November 2025.
The total expenditure by tourists residing abroad whose main destination was Catalonia stood at 1,467 million euros in November 2025, 5.9% more than the previous year.
The number of foreign tourists who arrived in Catalonia in November 2025 stood at 1.3 million, 0.9% more than the previous year.
