Methodological note
Information is presented on the number of pensioners and the average amount received in pensions in December of people residing in Catalonia.
The number of pensions is not the same as the number of pensioners, as this refers to physical persons.
The source of information is the administrative file on contributory pensions of the National Social Security Institute (INSS) and the Social Marine Institute (ISM)
