Survey on Living Conditions and Habits of the Population 2011. Extended results

Idescat has published an extension of the results of the Survey on Living Conditions and Habits of the Population 2011, in which the objective variables of the Survey are broken down into more specific levels, such as level of education, geographic origin and relation with activity. In addition to this extension, a new chapter is presented -Overall Life Satisfaction-, which analyses this variable in depth.

The main objective of this Survey is to obtain data on the income, living conditions, social structure, characteristics of different social groups and territorial differences of the Catalan population and its households, from a transversal perspective.

The ECVHP2011 is a statistical operation included in the Law on the Statistical Plan for Catalonia 2011-2014. It is published every five years and has been conducted through a collaboration agreement between the Statistical Institute of Catalonia, the Barcelona Institute of Regional and Metropolitan Studies, the Barcelona Metropolitan Area and the Barcelona Provincial Council.
