Consumer Price Index. 11/2023

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 3.1% on a year-over-year basis in Catalonia in November 2023. The groups with the highest inflation were food and non-alcoholic beverages (8.3%), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (7.7%) and hotels, cafés and restaurants (55%). The only group with a negative variation rate was housing (−5.4%).

In this period, the core inflation (general index without unprocessed food and energy products) is 4.4% in Catalonia.
