Statistics on Foreign Tourism. 11/2024

The number of foreign tourists who arrived in Catalonia in November 2024 stood at 1.3 million, a figure that represents a year-over-year increase of 9.7%. By country of habitual residence, the countries from which the majority of tourists came were France, Italy and the Unites States, with 278.7, 115.7 and 85.3 thousand tourists, respectively.

On the other hand, by reason for traveling, leisure trips, trips for other reasons (health, studies, family...) and business trips have a tourist influx of 914.9, 175.8 and 166.0 thousand tourists, respectively.

As for the principal type of accommodation, hotels and similar have an influx of 696.7 thousand tourists, and family or friend's home 255.0 thousand tourists.
