Consumer Price Index. 12/2024

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 2.9% on a year-over-year basis in Catalonia in December 2024. All groups showed positive rates of change.The groups with the highest inflation were housing (7.1%), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (4.8%) and hotels, cafés and restaurants (4.0%).

In this period, the core inflation (general index without unprocessed food and energy products) was 2.7% in Catalonia.
