Business Confidence Indicators. Q4/2025

The Harmonized Business Confidence Index (HBCI) of Catalonia increased by 0.7% in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the previous quarter.

By sectors of activity, business confidence improved in industry (4.6%) and in construction (2.2%), while it worsened in accommodation and food service activities and transport (−2.6%), in trade (−0.5%) and in other services (−0.2%).

In relation to the same quarter of the previous year the index increased by 1.6%. All sectors improved business confidence, and industry stood out with a 3.0% increase.
