Government approves the Annual Programme for Statistical Action 2025
The Government has approved the Annual Statistical Action Programme 2025 (PAAE 2025) which includes all the statistical actions relevant to the Generalitat de Catalunya to be undertaken this year as part of the Statistical Plan for Catalonia 2017-2020, which has been extended. There are 300 actions programmed.
New this year is the Cybersecurity Survey, the Official Development Assistance Statistics and the Bioeconomy Indicators.
In 2025, the results of the Population Projections 2024-2074, the Survey on Language Uses of the Population 2023, the Working Quality and Conditions Survey 2024 and the Survey on the Use of Time in Catalonia 2023-2024 will be published. It is also planned to release results from the Population Censuses 2023 and 2024, the Household Projections Base 2024, the Population Health Survey 2024 and the Survey on Living Conditions 2024.
In addition, it is planned to publish the new Input-Output Framework for Catalonia 2021 and update the Annual Economic Accounts for Catalonia and the Quarterly Accounts for Catalonia; the Catalan Classification of Economic Activities 2025 (CCAE-2025), which updates the CCAE-2009, will also be published. It is additionally planned to conduct the pilot stage of the Survey on the Origins and Trajectories of the Population Residing in Catalonia.
In terms of fieldwork, in 2025 there will be a new edition of the Economic Survey on Social Services the Territorial Survey on ICT Equipment and Use in Households; the Survey on Sexual Violence and the Public Safety Survey. Fieldwork will also be conducted for the Sections on the Current Entrepreneurial Situation; the Survey on Daily Mobility in the Lleida Area (Ponent) ; the Survey on Working Day Mobility and gathering information for the compilation of the Statistics on ICT Equipment and Use in Schools.
Finally, it is planned to publish the results of the indicators for the circular economy, tourism sustainability, the blue economy, the sustainable development goals, the gender equality index and the territorial socioeconomic index.
When the Annual Statistical Action Programme 2025 is published in the “Diari Oficial de la Generalitat de Catalunya” (Government of Catalonia’s Official Gazette), it will be available for viewing in the Statistical Plan for Catalonia section on Idescat’s website.
