Consumer Price Index. 01/2025

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 3.0% on a year-over-year basis in Catalonia in January 2025 All groups showed positive rates of change, except clothing and footwear (−0,1%) .The groups with the highest inflation were housing (7,4%), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (4.5%) and hotels, cafés and restaurants (4.2%).

In this period, the core inflation (general index without unprocessed food and energy products) was 2.6% in Catalonia.
