Indicators of Service Sector Activity. Indexes of Production and Turnover. Q4/2024

The Production Index in the Service Sector (IPROSS) (base 2021=100) increased by 0.8% on year-over-year basis in Catalonia in the fourth quarter of 2024. Furthermore, the Turnover Index (IASSVN) also showed an increase of 3.5% compared to a year ago, since the other services (this is to say, non-commercial ones) increased by 5.6% and trade by 2.3%. Within the other services, the most significant increases were in accommodation and food service activities (10.8%) and in administrative and support service activities (5.9%).
