Consumer Price Index. 02/2025

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 3.1% on a year-over-year basis in Catalonia in February 2025. All groups showed positive rates of change.The groups with the highest inflation were housing (8.9%), hotels, cafés and restaurants (3.8%) and alcoholic beverages and tobacco (3.2%).

In this period, the core inflation (general index without unprocessed food and energy products) was 2.4% in Catalonia.
