Consumer Price Index. 03/2025

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 2.2% on a year-over-year basis in Catalonia in March 2025. All groups showed positive rates of change, except transport (−1.3%) and leisure and culture that remains stable (0.0%).The groups with the highest inflation were housing (4.7%), hotels, cafés and restaurants (4.0%) and alcoholic beverages and tobacco (3.4%).

In this period, the core inflation (general index without unprocessed food and energy products) was 2.7% in Catalonia.
