Consumer Price Index. 04/2025

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 2.1% on a year-over-year basis in Catalonia in April 2025. All groups showed positive rates of change, except transport (−1.9%) and household goods that remains stable (0.0%).The groups with the highest inflation were hotels, cafés and restaurants (4.0%), leisure and culture (3.5%) and housing (2.9%).

In this period, the core inflation (general index without unprocessed food and energy products) was 2.4% in Catalonia.
