Exports increased by 6.6% year-over-year in Catalonia in March 2025 and imports by 17.2%.

Regarding exports by economic destination, exports of all goods grew: capital goods by 23.2%, intermediate goods by 6.3% and consumer goods by 4.9%. By geographical area, sales increased in America by 20.5%, in Asia by 13.4%, to the rest of the world by 12.4% and to the European Union by 6.3%; on the other hand, sales to other European countries and territories (non-EU countries) decreased by 10.3%.

Regarding imports by economic destination, imports of all goods increased: capital goods by 27.8%, consumer goods by 16.7% and intermediate goods by 16.0%. By geographical area, purchases in other countries and territories of Europe (non-EU countries) increased by 38.9%, in America by 28.1%, in the rest of the world by 21.6%, in Asia by 18.6% and in the European Union by 12.1%.
