Idescat takes over as chair of the Central Statistical Bodies of the Autonomous Regions network

On Thursday 3 July 2025, a new plenary session of the Central Statistical Bodies of the Autonomous Regions network was held at which the Statistical Institute of Catalonia (Idescat) took over as chair of the network from the Basque Statistical Institute (Eustat).

The main purpose of the Central Statistical Bodies of the Autonomous Regions network is to enhance coordination between the autonomous statistical bodies and foster joint initiatives which help to improve the provision of official territorial statistics.
