Business Confidence Indicators. Q3/2025

The Harmonized Business Confidence Index (HBCI) of Catalonia increased by 1.2% in the third quarter of 2025 compared to the previous quarter.

By activity sector, trade and other services are the sectors that show the most significant improvement in business confidence (2.0%, in both cases), followed by construction (0.8%). On the other hand, industry and accommodation and food and transport remain stable (0.0%, in both cases)

In relation to the same quarter of the previous year, the Business confidence index increased by 0.1%. By sector, there is a disparate behavior with decreases in accommodation and food service activities and transport (−3.3%), construction (−0.9%) and trade (−0.3%) and an increase in other services (1.4%). On the other hand, industry remains stable (0.0%).
