Statistics on Rural Tourism Accommodation Activity. Q2/2025

The number of overnight stays in rural tourism establishments in Catalonia increased by a year-over-year 20.5% in the second quarter of 2025, according to provisional data from the Rural Tourist Accommodation Occupancy Survey.

By country of origin, the number of overnight stays of domestic tourists grew by 22.5% (Catalan tourism increased by 20.9% and that proceeding from the rest of Spain by 66.0%) and foreign tourism increased by 12.9%.

On the other hand, the number of travellers registered in rural tourism establishments grew by a year-over-year 1.8%.
