Statistics on Foreign Tourism Expenditure. 06/2025

The total expenditure made by foreign tourists whose main destination was Catalonia stood at 2,579 million euros in June 2025, which represents a increase of 1.9% compared to the same period of the previous year.

By country of habitual residence, the United States, United Kingdom and France and stood out with a total expenditure of 469, 319 and 225 million euros, a figure that represented a year-over-year variation of 1.1%, 14.3% and 5.8%, respectively.

The average daily expenditure per person was 251 euros, which represented a year-over-year increase of 1.0%. The main expenditure items correspond to expenditure on international transport that is not included in the tourist package (694 million euros) and expenditure on accommodation (523 million euros).
